• Paradise Tails inc. is a small Florida Keys Mr & Mrs commercial fishing / seafood operation, with one small crab boat "The Ugly Crabbling". Our seafood is Fresh directly from the Sea to your table, with Nothing in between, Except your fisherman (of course).

We get a lot of questions about what makes us different than other places, and about prices, etc.
Paradise Tails inc. is an independent Small Family owned and operated business. 2nd generation fully licensed commercial fisherman Scott Bruno & Myself (Captain Morgan), also a fully licensed commercial fisherman, seafood wholesale/retailer, and I’m Also a fully Licensed 100 ton Master Captain with Charter licenses. We own and operate the company together as a team, and together run his crab boat "The Ugly Crabbling", with only one additional crew member.
The number one difference between us and everyone else, is the seafood we sell comes directly from the sea and goes directly to you.
The seafood you get at most other places, is usually fished by some large underpaid crew somewhere, owned by some company with thousands of traps... (usually not even local)... then sold to a wholesaler from the boat, dipped in Chemical Preservatives (if not already dipped on the boat!), frozen & stored for up to a few years sometimes, then sold to a distributor, transported, frozen, then sold retail, frozen, and then handled by a bare minimum of 15 more people before you even eat it.
Most (not all) of that seafood is Far from Fresh, much of it Far from Local and more than you know isn’t even from this country (Including events that Claim to be “fresh local” seafood)
The fish you get from us comes directly from the sea... from our boat to your throat. No middle man. Nobody in between. Just a small commercial boat, with our 3 person crew - Family, that goes fishing in rain, shine, calm seas, rough seas... there’s no huge revenue, just a family that thrives on quality seafood and being proud of the seafood we sell. Quality Fresh seafood, fresh from the sea, that we eat too.
We’re completely independent, not under a fish house or any other distributor, which also gives us the ability to keep our prices reasonable. All of our lobsters, and stone crab claws, come directly from the sea, to our boat, (or sometimes one on the fleet that we typically crew),
to your table.
Our Shrimp even comes from a Local Shrimp Boat, that’s small like us.
